The second bird in the area in 2002. Click here for pictures of the summer plumaged adult at Bainton GP in April.

The white area between the ear coverts and nape indicates this is not a juvenile, which would be buff here and on the neck. However there is a distinct,if restricted, buff tinge, perhaps indicating this is a first winter bird.
